yes, I know the start of something with a thing so melancholic is unusual. The very think that people tend to act as if it never happened or as if it didn't affect them. But the reality is , thats death affects us all , some maybe less than others but enough to make us want to change all our morals and ideologies of life. I started with such a topic not only because of being fascinated by something that has instilled fear in everyone's hearts , mine included, but because sometimes it is better to start from the very end rather than the beginning .
I have come to believe that the sooner we realise that death the sad , depressing and painful reality is accepted , the sooner life will become more clearer to us. we go in life until the very end believing that everything can be done by one snap of our fingers (Well, most of us do) . We all must accept like birth , death is at the apex of our lives . It is the dominion of doom that consumes us , until ....we dont let it .
What fascinates me about Death however , is not its sad and grieving aspect but , the aspect of what happens after it. I have come to think that almost every person in this world has at one point been haunted by the life altering question of "what happens after death?" As we grow older and closer to what might be our final fate/destiny it consumes us .
This realization of our Final End is when we will come to understand that to be immortal one mustn't live forever but, must leave a mark on the world and everyone in it , Due to which he or she can and will be remembered forever. This act of ours to forever have our name spoken by all shouldnt be one of evil deeds but of good ones as those who have wronged and are feared are usually forgotten . But those who do good and are kind will always be remembered and looked upon by all.
This sealed fate of ours does not have a timer on it , it has been set by nature the day we were born and can explode at any moment , maybe not for another hundred years or maybe in the next minute . It all depends on our action and our knowledge and fear of something so powerful as death . which in the end is INEVITABLE .
Sincerely,
